Station 51

After nearly four and a half years of planning and development, Station 51 at 3016 Olive Branch Road officially opened on November 19, 2007, following seventeen months of on-site construction.

Planning for the new facility began in early 2003, driven by the need to realign current and future station coverage and to replace the aging Runyon Road station. These factors led to the selection of the Olive Branch Road site and the construction of the new station.

The facility encompasses 15,500 square feet under roof, including 4,100 square feet dedicated to apparatus bays. It was designed to accommodate a maximum on-duty staffing of twelve firefighters, with capacity for future growth.
