Joe started his fire service career in 1994 at White River Township Fire Department as a Cadet.  After serving active duty in the USAF as a firefighter, Chief Green was hired at Fishers Fire Department as a career firefighter in 2003.  One year later, he was hired back at WRTFD working as a Driver Operator.  Joe made his way through the ranks of firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, and recently was promoted to Battalion Chief in January of 2016.  Chief Green holds several certifications and licenses to include Paramedic and Registered Nurse for the State of Indiana. 

Chief Green is responsible for all personnel and emergency incidents on his shift.  His home base is located at Station 51 on Olive Branch, however responds to all incidents throughout the district to include neighboring departments.  You may contact Chief Green through email by clicking HERE.
