White River Township Firefighters responded to a single vehicle accident early Tuesday evening near the entrance to the Walnut Woods Sub-division on Smith Valley Road.  The Johnson County Sheriff's Department reported that a 2011 Ford F350 pickup was westbound on Smith Valley Road when it lost control after crossing the railroad tracks and attempted to recover when the truck flipped on its side and rolled four to five times according to witnesses.  The driver was assisted from the vehicle prior to the arrival of police and fire.  The passenger was ejected from the truck prior to the vehicle coming to a stop.  The Johnson County Sheriff's Department has not determined the cause of the crash at this time.
