Events this weekend to help Center Grove and Johnson County children

        If you are planning to do any family fun this weekend, we invite you to stop by and help us make car rides safer and help Center Grove School Children have a brighter Christmas this year.  On Sunday, September 18th, join us at the Community Church of Greenwood Gathering Place and have your child's car seat checked for free.  Our certified car seat technicians will look at the care seat and make sure they comply with all safety procedures as required by law and the manufacturer.  This event is sponsored by your friends at Community Church of Greenwood and The Gathering Place Sports and Fitness in conjunction with Safe Kids of Johnson County, Greenwood Fire Department, Our Neighborhood McDonalds and The White River Township Fire Department.  For a printable brochure of this event, click HERE.

             

 

         Our second event actually happens on Monday evening, September 19th, 2011.  Texas Roadhouse and The White River Township Fire Department invite you to "Eat a Meal and Tip a Firefighter" night from 4pm until 10pm.  If you would like to be served by a firefighter, stop by between 5:30pm and 7:30pm.  Click on the Texas Roadhouse logo at the bottom of this page to print an invitation to this event.  During this event, Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of your total food purchases to the White River Township Christmas Angels Program which will benefit Center Grove School Children in need of clothes and toys this Christmas.  You can also stop by to see Santa Claus and see Patches, the Fire Dog.  We hope to see you at any of our events this weekend.
