Fire department receives "Heart"

       The following "Heart" was printed in Monday's Daily Journal as part of the weekly Hearts and Darts section:

    "The six fires in our subdivision Sept. 8 were small and under control due to your hard work and diligence that should be complimented. This could have gone a drastically different direction had the fire departments not been so thorough and effective. Thank you for preserving our homes and reassuring us that our firefighters in the area are real heroes.."
