Mud Bowl 2010
White River
Township firefighters assisted with the Fourth-Annual Mud Bowl sponsored by the
youth ministry at Stones Crossing Church. The yearly event starts with a
large pit dug into the ground in a field next to the church that is filled with
water, creating a muddy slurry. Kids of all ages are then allowed to
"play" in the mud and are later washed off by firefighters. The ministry
organizes several games throughout the event including tug-o-war, hide-n-seek,
and duck-duck-goose. Around one-hundred students showed up for the
two-hour ordeal and were later picked up by parents.
