Accident sends seven to hospital
Seven
people, including four children, were injured earlier today in a two-vehicle
accident at the intersection of State Road 135 and Stones Crossing Road.
Firefighters and paramedics from both the White River Township and Bargersville
fire departments responded to the scene after callers reported that there were
multiple victims involved. All four children, along with their mother,
were in a minivan that overturned during the collision and landed on its top.
Fortunately, no one was trapped in either vehicle and all of the injuries
appeared to be non-life threatening. A total of five ambulances were
needed to transport all the victims to the hospital. The cause of the
incident was still under investigation at press time.
