Fire destroys garage

      White River Township firefighters responded to Morgan County earlier this morning to assist Harrison Township Fire Department with a fully-engulfed detached garage fire.  The fire spread to a nearby storage shed causing extensive damage there as well.  Several other departments from throughout northern Morgan County were also on scene to assist.  Water was shuttled in via a tanker operation due to the lack of a nearby fire hydrant.  The fire caused a total loss of the garage.  The cause of the fire was unknown but under investigation at press time.
