Fire department receives "Heart"

       The following "Heart" was printed in Monday's Daily Journal as part of the weekly Hearts and Darts section:

    "I was on the scene of the sport utility vehicle landing in the pond. I want to applaud the efforts of all of the agencies involved: Greenwood Fire Department, White River Township Fire Department, Rural/Metro Ambulance, Greenwood Police Department, Johnson County Sheriffs Office and Indiana State Police.
Their efforts were swift and professional. The Rural/Metro paramedics were amazing in their efforts to recover this patient. Rural/Metro had several ambulances on the scene, one for the patient and others to take care of the rescuers. Thanks to all of you who do this on a daily basis."
