A quick way to cool down

       Firefighters from the White River Township Fire Department helped cool off a group of soccer players on Friday at the Gathering Place of the Community Church of Greenwood.  The fire department was providing non-emergency event coverage at the church where temperatures topped 90 degrees thereby necessitating the mass cool down. Firefighters also let children try their hand at spraying water by assisting them at the end of the nozzle.  The British soccer group, Challenger Sports, travels around the world teaching children about the fundamentals of soccer and were in town at the church on Friday.
