Inaugural 'Blaze the Trail' event set
Center
Grove Trails, along with the help of the White River Township Fire Department,
will be hosting its inaugural "Blaze the Trail" 5K Run/Walk to help build
support for trails in White River Township. This event will be held along with
the fire department’s 17th Annual Strawberry
Festival on Saturday, June 13th beginning at 9 a.m. So, come out and enjoy
a fun filled day with your neighbors and friends where you can run or walk the
5K event, participate in a Children’s Fun Run, enjoy a Steak and Egg Sandwich
for breakfast, or the many other activities planned at the festival.

Race Day registration is also available beginning at 7:30 a.m.
General Details:
Check-in begins at 7:30
a.m. at Pleasant Grove Elementary School at the corner of Fairview Rd. and
Morgantown Road in northwestern White River Township.
Runners start at 9 a.m.
and walkers immediately follow.
Awards will be
distributed following the race at around10 a.m. Winners must be
present to receive awards.
The race
route begins at Pleasant Grove and goes through the picturesque Innisbrooke
Subdivision ending on the asphalt trail around New Hope Church.

· Center Grove Trails, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization in White River Township working with our many friends and businesses to support the development of trails and greenways in our community. Your business or group can promote your goals at this community-advertised race. Center Grove Trails, Inc. is hosting this race to allow individuals to get to know our organization, promote trails awareness, and to participate in one of the biggest festivals in our community.
