Car crashes into creek
A driver sustained
what appeared to be minor injuries today just before noon when he lost control
of the car he was driving. The car rolled at least once after striking
some trees and crashing into a creek bed according to firefighters from the
White River Township Fire Department. The driver, who was the lone
occupant, was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to the hospital
by ambulance for a checkout. Firefighters also cleaned up small amounts of
fluids that leaked from the vehicle into the waterway. The road was closed
for about an hour while crews cleaned up the scene and the sheriff's department
investigated the cause of the accident.
