Fire destroys mobile home

Six children and an adult were forced out of a Center Grove area mobile home by a fire Wednesday morning.  Firefighters were called to the home at 565 Shady Brook Heights at 8:30 a.m.  A fire had started in a bedroom and had completely engulfed the room when firefighters arrived, White River Township Fire Chief Jeremy Pell said.  The fire was out in about 15 minutes, but the mobile home will be a total loss, Pell said.  The fire department is investigating the fire, including how it started, he said.  No one was injured in the fire, and the residents were able to get out quickly after it started.  The Red Cross was called to provide assistance, Pell said.  He did not have the owner's name or an estimate of damage(Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
