Single vehicle accident injures one
A pickup truck
crashed into a tree this morning in the 3800 block of West County Line Road,
near Woodcreek Drive. Firefighters from White River Township and Perry
Township both responded to the incident just before 8 a.m. The driver and
sole occupant of the vehicle was trapped and required extrication before being
transported to the hospital. Paramedics at the scene treated the victim
who was subsequently transported by Rural-Metro Ambulance Service to Methodist
Hospital in Indianapolis with serious injuries. The cause of the accident
was being investigated by police and was unknown at press time.
Firefighters remained on the scene for about ninety minutes assisting in the
investigation.
