The Station 51 construction project has finally reached the point of the end of on-site work.  After eighteen months of construction, the building is substantially complete with only the final inspection by Johnson County to be completed.  The final inspection is currently slated for November 16th.  It is anticipated that the Certificate of Occupancy will be granted following this inspection and the fire department occupying the structure sometime thereafter.  More information about the move and any subsequent impacts to service will be addressed in a special news release when information becomes available.  Some recent photos from the site are included below.
