The Station 51 construction project continues in its sixteenth, and likely final, month of on-site construction activity.  As the project nears official completion, the department is beginning to make preparations for the move into the new facility.  Meanwhile, work crews are finishing up touch-up paint, landscaping, electrical, and a few other minor items before the first punch list walk-through, which is currently set for September 6th.  If all goes well, the department is currently looking at early to mid October for an occupancy date.  An official open house and dedication will be scheduled for about a month later.
