Station 51 construction update 14

As the project officially enters its fourteenth month of on-site construction, the end may finally be in sight.  Although much of the work over the past four weeks has focused on the exterior, work on the interior has continued in earnest as well.  Painting continues on all levels, wall tile has been started, and floor coverings have begun to be placed.  Much of the finish carpentry has also been started, including cabinet installation.  On the outside, the first layers of asphalt have been put down as well as work started on the "storefront" breezeway.  Further work on the paving and landscaping portion of the project is temporarily on hold awaiting the relocation of a primary power trunk line that currently runs in front of the property.  Once this is completed, the building will be energized with permanent power and an overall project completion date will be able to be re-determined.
