Water main break not serious
A
water main broke Tuesday at Mullinix Road and
Deerwood Drive near the entrance of the Deerwood subdivision. Bargersville
Utilities repaired the break and didn't require help from other agencies, White
River Fire Department Battalion Chief Jim Engmark said. Some water leaked
onto the street, but it didn't pose a serious problem, he said. The road
suffered minimal damage along the curb and remained drivable, Engmark said.
Vehicles were able to enter and exit the subdivision, he said. The Johnson
County Highway Department fixed the damage to the road, said Maj. Randy Werden
of the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. (Reprinted with
