Full-time hiring processes to begin

       The White River Township Fire Department in northwest Johnson County will be conducting simultaneous hiring processes for the positions of full-time firefighter and full-time Fire Chief.  The Fire Chief process will ultimately fill a current vacancy whereas the firefighter process will create a list of eligible individuals who may be called upon at any time to fill future vacancies, up to two years following the completion of the process.  The Fire Chief process begins on Monday, May 7th, 2007 with applications due no later than May 24th, 2007.  The firefighter process begins on Monday, May 14th, 2007 with applications due no later than May 25th, 2007.  For more information on both processes, including important deadline dates, click HERE to visit the department's employment information page.  White River Township Fire Department is an equal opportunity employer.
