Fire Chief says farewell

       White River Township Fire Chief Michael Tibbetts spent his last official day on the job saying farewell to fellow firefighters and other area emergency personnel.  An open house was held in his honor to commemorate his ten years on the job with the department.

         The open house drew an estimated fifty to sixty people over the two hour period and was held at the department's headquarters on Mullinix Road.  Food, drink, and cake were provided for all who attended.  Tibbetts received a plaque on behalf of the entire department presented by Staff Battalion Chief Joel Thacker and Deputy Chief Scott Cassin thanking him for his years of grateful service.  See a related story HERE.
