Construction continues at the new Station 51 site on Olive Branch Road despite wet weather that continues to threaten the overall schedule.  Contractors have finished most of the exterior work including siding and trim but the permanent installation of utilities is on hold until drier weather moves in and the ground can be compacted properly.  Most interior walls are now in place with some drywall and insulation being installed.  HVAC, electrical, and plumbing trades are all on site and continue their rough-ins as the site is being readied for permanent exterior door installation.  Once the doors are installed, the structure will be able to be fully heated and drywall can continue in earnest.  Click on the thumbnails below for a pictorial view of the progress.
