Even though rain continues to hamper construction, progress is still being made on the new fire station.  Much has been accomplished in the past month at the site as evidenced with structural framing getting underway.  All of the exterior walls are now complete and work has begun on the roof assembly.  Exterior face brick has also arrived on site and masons have begun laying it up on the north and east sides of the building.  In the coming weeks, efforts will continue on the exterior of the building in order to get the building ready for the advancing winter months.  Some photos of the progress are displayed below.
