After nearly three weeks of construction, the basement foundation is beginning to take shape.  Excavation began earlier last week and took several days to remove over 150 dump truck loads of dirt from the site.  Most of the dirt was hauled off site with only about forty loads remaining to form the parking lot.  Footers were poured shortly thereafter on the basement portion of the building as the project's first inspection ensued.  Forms were later placed for the walls and concrete was pumped on Friday.  Some photos of the progress are displayed below.
