Tractor fire at McCarty Mulch

       The White River Township Fire Department responded to the McCarty Mulch facility located at 100 Bluffdale Drive today on a tractor fire.  Firefighters arrived to find a large front-loading tractor fifty percent involved with fire and approximately fifteen feet from the building.  The fire was extinguished quickly and no other damage was reported.  The fire investigation found a large amount of mulch built up on the engine manifold, which caused the fire to occur.  (Submitted by Battalion Chief James Engmark).
