Members enjoy annual picnic

       White River Township Fire Department held its 4th annual Employee Appreciation Picnic at Independence Park earlier today.  Friends, family and co-workers shared a day of fun, food and games under nearly perfect weather conditions.  The idea for an employee picnic was started four years ago and has now become an annual tradition.  The picnic was organized by the Auxiliary Division of the department which is made up of wives, significant others, and friends who assist the firefighters performing various support functions.  Some of these functions include planning social events, organizing fundraisers, and emergency incident rehabilitation.  For more information on the Auxiliary Division, including how to become a member, click HERE.
