Not a giant spider

       No need to worry, White River Township is not under attack by a giant spider.  Earlier today, the unidentified arachnid was spotted building a web across the lens of the Station 53 tower camera.  A screen shot below shows the spider in action, perched at an altitude of about 60 feet.  The original spotter initially thought that the figure was an airplane shadow moving across the ground when a closer inspection revealed otherwise.  Although it appears the spider is as large as the building, in reality it is about the size of a pencil eraser.  Click HERE to visit the live camera page.
