Details still unclear for man found dead in pool

An autopsy was inconclusive for a man found dead in the pool at his Greenwood home last week.  Police now have to wait two to three weeks for the results of a toxicology test to learn how the man died, said Doug Cox, chief deputy for the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.

Kenneth Keller, 41, of Greenwood was found at his home by his roommate, Robert Wehrman, Cox said last week.  Wehrman said he returned home from work about 4 p.m. Thursday and saw Keller at the bottom of the 6 to 8 foot-deep pool, a police report said.  he pulled Keller from the in-ground pool and tried to revive him by using CPR, according to the report.

Police found Keller's clothes near a table on the patio, detective Lt. Mike McElwain said last week.  The concrete around the pool was dry, and there were no signs of a struggle, McElwain and Cox had said.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)   See a related story by clicking HERE
