The White River Township Fire Department responded to Lot 123 Oak Meadows Trailer Park on a report of a trailer fire.  When firefighters arrived, the occupant of the trailer stated that there was a fire in the wall and thought that he had put the fire out.  Firefighters checked for extension and found some flame extension in the wall but were able to extinguish the fire before it spread any further.  The damage was mainly limited to the exterior of the residence along with some interior insulation.  There was some smoke inside the residence but that was able to be ventilated out.  No one was inside or injured during the fire and the homeowner will be staying with a family member until repairs can be made.  (Story by Battalion Chief James Engmark, C-Shift)
