Department announces vehicle sale
 

TWO 1999 CHEVROLET TAHOES
(Emergency package included for official use)

             Notice is hereby given that the White River Township Fire Protection District intends to dispose of the following described vehicles by accepting sealed bids for their purchase from interested parties:

            1.       1999 White Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4WD with maroon Interior – 63,994 miles
            2.       1999 White Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4WD with gray Interior – 77,219 miles

            Sealed bids for the purchase of the above vehicles will be accepted at the White River Township Fire Protection District Fire Department office located at 850 S. Mullinix Road, Greenwood, Indiana until 7 p.m. on May 3, 2005 at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud in a public meeting.  All bids received after that time will be returned unopened.  The vehicles may be inspected at the White River Township Fire Protection District office located at 850 S. Mullinix Road during weekday business hours, Monday thru Friday 8:00a.m. until 4:00p.m. up to the time of sale.

 All bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “SEALED BID” on the outside addressed to the Chief of the White River Township Fire Protection District and addressed to or delivered to the Administrative Office located at 850 S. Mullinix Road, Greenwood, Indiana 46143-9008.  Each bid should contain the amount to be bid for the above vehicles.  You must submit two separate bids if you intend on bidding for both vehicles.  No additional conditions of sale or contingencies shall be allowed.  The minimum bid price will be as follows:

1.       1999 White Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4WD with maroon Interior - $8,000
            2.       1999 White Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4WD with gray Interior - $7,000

             The above vehicles shall be sold for cash or cash equivalent to the highest responsible bidder.

             All sales shall be final and the vehicles shall be conveyed “AS IS AND WHERE IS”, without any representation or warranty with respect to kind, quality fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.  The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality, irregularity or omission in any bid, provided that such waiver shall, in all discretion of the District, be to the advantage of the District.
