Fire Prevention open house held

       The White River Township Fire Department held its annual open house today in conjunction with this year's Fire Prevention Week.  The open house is held every year and features all of the department's equipment on display along with an opportunity for the community to view the department's headquarters facility.  Additionally, fire prevention materials and educational talks are given as members of the community tour the station.  This year, free hot dogs and drinks were offered along with a raffle for a satellite TV system.  The open house was from 5 pm to 8 pm.
