Fire destroys pick up truck
White River Township Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy at 1675 W. Smith Valley Road. While responding, firefighters could see a smoke plume from the intersection of Meridian Park Drive and State Road 135. Upon their arrival, firefighters were faced with a fully engulfed truck fire. The fire was extinguished within minutes of arrival. The cause of the fire was unknown and is under investigation.
