Serious accident injures two

       The White River Township Fire Department responded to a reported serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Fry Road and SR 135.  Upon arrival, firefighters found two vehicles involved in a side-impact collision with one person trapped.  Greenwood Fire Department was also called to assist due to multiple emergency responses in the White River Township Fire Department district.  It took firefighters approximately ten minutes to free the trapped victim from the vehicle who was subsequently transported to Wishard Hospital with serious injuries.  A second patient was taken to Community Hospital South with less serious injuries. Firefighters remained on the scene for additional assistance during the police investigation. The cause of the crash was unknown at the time of the report.
