TSU construction continues

       Construction continues today at the Saulsbury plant in Prebble, New York on the new Tactical Support Unit (TSU) for the  White River Township Fire Department.  This piece of equipment, valued at just under $400,000, is scheduled for delivery by the end of this year, according to Battalion Chief Carey Slauter. The unit will serve in a multitude of capacities from scene lighting to terrorism response.  The apparatus will also be used as a mobile command unit on large incidents, bringing the capabilities of electronic data resources, communications, and and other support services to the scene.  The unit was originally ordered back in January of this year following a nine month design and research period.  A sneak peak at the chassis can be seen in the photos below.
