Afternoon accident injures three

       The White River Township Fire Department responded on a two-car serious motor vehicle accident earlier this afternoon. The call was to assist Bargersville Fire Department with a reported entrapment of victims following a head-on collision.  Upon arrival of the first arriving crews, it was discovered that there was no entrapment, but there were a total of three victims that would need transport to a hospital for their injuries.  The accident occurred at 2:25pm just south of the intersection of Whiteland Road and State Road 135.  One of the vehicles apparently overcorrected, crossed the center line of the highway, and then struck the other vehicle nearly head-on.  All three victims were transported by Rural/Metro ambulances to Methodist and Wishard Hospitals in Indianapolis.
