Three vehicle accident injures child

       Three vehicles including a delivery van, a car, and a pick-up truck were involved in an accident today at the intersection of Stones Crossing Road and State Road 37.  White River Township Fire Department and Johnson County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the scene at 4:18 p.m. and arrived a few minutes later.  The van and car were found in separate ravines on each side of the highway and the pick-up truck was found on its side in the intersection.  Paramedics and EMT's quickly treated all of the victims of the accident at the scene.  A child who was involved in the accident however was transported by Rural/Metro Medic 52 to Saint Francis South Campus for further evaluation.  The fire department secured all of the vehicles while checking for fluid leaks and vehicle stability.  The scene was then turned over to the Sheriff Department for the accident investigation.
