Department hosts PFFUI District 3 Caucus

       The White River Township Fire Department was host to the Professional Firefighters Union of Indiana District 3 Caucus today.  The semi-annual event that is held at different departments throughout the district enjoyed one of the best turnouts ever, according to Mark Mastison, District 3 Vice-President.  The event is held to share information and ideas among the professional firefighting community.  The caucus began with lunch provided for each of the participants followed by a business meeting which lasted about 3 and half hours.  11 departments representing different locals from throughout the southern half of Indiana were present.  Also in attendance were PFFUI State President Thomas Hanify and Indiana State Representitive David Frizzel.  Lieutenant Mark Hart and Lieutenant Joe Settles planned and organized the event.
