White River Firefighters burn storm brush
White River Twp Firefighters spent the day Sunday cleaning up leftover brush and fallen trees from last year's tornadoes that ripped through the area. The trees and limbs were cleared from the roadways back on September 20th and then taken to a central location on Runyon Road. The storm debris was left to dry out over the winter in order for it to be burned. Fifteen firefighters and several civilians chipped in to get the job done. By nightfall, most of the debris was gone.
