New domain name purchased

        The White River Twp Fire Department recently purchased a new domain name on the Internet in order to more accurately reflect the department's name.  The new domain, www.wrtfd.org, is only different than the original domain by the addition of the "t" in the middle of the name.  The current domain, www.wrfd.org, will remain active for about the next year and then discontinued. Until then, anyone accessing the "old" domain will get "re-directed" to the "new" domain, most likely without even knowing it.

    The department urges those who have created shortcuts or bookmarks to the site to update them upon this notification.  This will assure no loss of content when the old domain is finally turned off.
