Digging for new digs

       White River Township Fire Protection District board member Bill Patterson (from left in photo below), division chief Eric Brown, battalion chief Scott Cassin, battalion chief Mike Tibbetts and chairman Paul Kite were on hand to break ground Friday at 850 S. Mullinix Road, the site of the department’s third station.  Construction on the $1.3 million structure, which will house the department’s headquarters and a sheriff substation, began Wednesday and will likely be completed in January.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
