Firefighter's awards for meritorious service

       White River Township Fire Department Lt. Jeff Wilson (top photo, from left) and Division Chief Eric Brown present an award of gratitude to Dave Poletti, general manager of Meijer in Greenwood. The award was given to Poletti and the rest of the store for assisting the department during the White River Township Strawberry Festival, Fire Prevention Week and other times throughout the year. White River Township Fire Department Lt. Kevin Skipper (right photo) holds awards honoring him as the Employee of the Year and Officer of the Year. The department’s awards banquet was held recently at the Valle Vista Country Club in Greenwood.
