Thanks to safety workers
The following was a letter to the editor that was reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal.
To the
editor:
On the afternoon of Sunday, Nov. 8, I was involved in an accident at State Road
37 and Stones Crossing Road. When my truck was hit, it rolled, although no one
is sure how many times. I had my seat belt on, just as I always do, but someone
was watching over me. All I can say about the help I received are good things.
White River Township Rescue 51, Engine 52, the medics, state police, local
police and sheriff all arrived before I had time to panic. I want to personally
thank everyone who helped me and to tell you that I appreciate your fine work.
Also, thank you to the witnesses who were kind enough to get involved and gave
statements. My truck, which was only a few weeks old, was totaled, I was
injured, but I expect to recover. I feel very fortunate to be alive and to be
able to thank everyone who was there for me.
