Huge fire in downtown Franklin

       White River Township firefighters and auxiliary members responded to downtown Franklin earlier today to assist with the fire at Brown’s Market.  The fire destroyed the building which drew firefighters and equipment from around the county to battle the fire in extreme heat and humidity.  No word on a cause or damage estimate was available at press time.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
