Construction under way at fire station

       After nearly a year in the planning stages, construction finally began last month on the renovation and room addition at the White River Township fire station on Runyon Road.  The work is in response to a growing department that is trying to keep up with an ever increasing run load.  The project calls for additional office space and a new bunk room and locker area.  Construction is expected to be completed sometime next summer.  See related stories and photos HERE and HERE.
