Young boy killed in cave-in

       Matthew Kieffer was killed when part of this eroded creek embankment collapsed Saturday, burying him and a friend under tons of dirt.  Friends of the 13year-old boy put together a makeshift shrine, below right, near the accident site.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
