Firefighters train at wrecker lot

       White River Township firefighters conducted a two-day training course on advanced automobile extrication techniques over the weekend.  The class took place at the Kinman Wreker Service lot on Sumner Avenue in Indianapolis.  Firefighters were able to use various equipment and power tools, including the new Kinman Rescue Tool (similar to the Jaws of Life) and pneumatic airbags on actual junk vehicles throughout the lot.  The use of the vehicles were all donated by the Kinman company.  Firefighters from the Greenwood Fire Department also participated.
