Man drowns in pond

       Conservation officer David Reese takes notes from the bank of a farm pond off Morgantown Road in White River Township where William Sanders, 68, drowned shortly after noon Wednesday.  Sanders and 70-year-old Gilbert Bullock were fishing in the boat when Sanders reportedly stood up, causing the boat to overturn. At right, rescue workers from Myers Ambulance Service comfort Bullock on the bank.
