First Water competition

       White River firefighters were once again host to the annual First Water Competition.  The competition is a friendly match between various fire departments where the goal is the be the first team to connect three sections of hose, spray water, and knock a basketball off a pylon fifty feet away.  The event is held in conjunction with the department’s annual fish fry.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
