Fire damages custom home

White River Township firefighters responded to a house fire in the Fairview Heights subdivision last evening.  The fire, believed to be ignited by a gasoline-soaked rag too close to a gas hot water heater, was well-involved upon the fire department's arrival.  A corvette that was in the garage where the fire started was destroyed.  Damage estimates were not available and it was unknown if there were any injuries.
