A day in the life of a fire station

       It was business as usual today at the White River firehouse on Runyon Road in northwest Johnson County.  On any given day a handful of volunteer firefighters can be seen "standing by" at the fire station awaiting their next emergency call.  Although there were no calls this afternoon, firefighters passed the time watching television and playing a couple games of pool.
