Firefighters injured by smoke inhalation
Two
White River Township Volunteer Firefighters suffered smoke inhalation while
battling a fire at a mobile home park Sunday afternoon. Patricia McDaniel was
treated at University Heights Hospital and released. Bob Wehrman was treated at
the scene. The trailer home of Penny Dearing was damaged at a total loss.
Investigation is continuing to determine the cause of the fire which occurred at
1:39 p.m. in Friendly Village, a mobile home park formerly known as Wheel
Estates. Greenwood firefighters assisted White River Township volunteers. See
